What insurances do you accept?
All major insurance carriers are accepted including Medicaid, but no other managed care Medicaid/HMO at this time.
 
How can I make payments for services rendered? 
We accept Visa/Master Card, cash and checks.
 
What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30-5:00pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The office is closed from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm daily for lunch
 
Where is the office located?
The office is located in the Providence Medical Building at 1140 Varnum Street, NE in Suite 107, Washington, DC 20017. The Medical Building is connected to Providence Hospital.
 
When should new patients arrive?
New patients should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to complete paper work and for insurance verification.
 
Can I be seen without a valid insurance referral from my primary care doctor if my insurance requires one?
No. If your insurance company requires that you have a referral you must have a valid insurance referral number from your primary care doctor before you can be seen by any specialist and before your insurance company will pay for your visit. It is the patient’s responsibility to obtain the referral from your primary care doctor.
 
If I have an emergency can I be seen that day?
Yes, every effort will made to see you that day whether you’re a new or old patient.
 
Do you see children?
Yes, we do.
 
I don’t have insurance. Can I still be seen as a patient?
Yes, however you will be charged a discounted fee for the services provided.
 
Do you dispense hearing aids?
Yes, most hearing aids are not covered by insurance, but our prices are much competitive than commercial chain stores. We also offer access to "Care Credit" for financing hearing aids. Please ask for more details.
 
Can I get to the office by public transportation?
Yes,
Red or Green line to Brookland or Fort Totten Station.
 
Do we charge for missed appointments?
No, but we ask you to give us at least a 24 hour cancellation notice to make room for potential urgent appointments .
 
 
Dr. Williams recently received Washingtonian Magazine's Top Doctors award; an honor for which he was selected by doctors in the Washington, D.C. area who would choose him to treat their own families.

In November, 2009, Dr. Williams visited Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa as part of a 20-member delegation of Otolaryngologists (E.N.T. physicians) from across the United States. The delegation toured local public hospitals, met with other physicians in South Africa's private and public sectors, and participated in Continuing Medical Education workshops with E.N.T physicians from the University of the Western Cape to share new ideas and information about the latest and best practices in managing the care of patients.
